Then, we started passing last semester work and that's what they're doing right now, and Ricardo just right now told me to put him in the blog. Song Essay Prompt RJ Check Homework: RJ 8.1 Read 20-30 minutes After we did blog corrections, We are doing the quote of the week "The measure of any society is how it treats its women and girls" by Michelle Obama. We are now talking about how society treats women differently in places of the world and past times. Now, we are moving to the question of the week, "How is language shifting to become more gender inclusive?" We discussed that some quotes refer to a certain gender like men, man, he, she, her, and women. Instead of saying all or everyone, and also how different places and events are gender inclusive. We talked about how he song is telling us how girls should be more confident in themselves, and how girls should act in religion and on media. Agenda: TKAM and THUG book versus movie Homework: reading journal 7.4 read for 20-30 min So, I got picked and as soon as we got into class, Ms. Nakada had us write the homework and then we went straight into To Kill a Mockingbird . God, I am so tired I can barely think. Well, today I got my classes changed. Art was kinda annoying, so I decided, hey I will go into music. Now, the movie has ended so everyone is taking out their notebooks and is taking notes. If I am being honest, I thought the book was kinda boring. I am now thinking that I wish that Adenn and others were not so annoying because The Hate U Give was good and I looked it up on Amazon and Hulu and it was not available. Maybe if I ask Ms. Montgomery or Ms. Nakada to give me the movie and I'll pay ten bucks for it. Man, I have never been so intruiged by a movie in my life. AGENDA Blog corrections "Ain't I a Woman?" T.H.U.G. Book vs Movie HOMEWORK R.J 7.3 Read for 20-30 minutes. So hey, I guess. I'm hungry right now. We did blog corrections, and Christian picked me. I don't really care if he picks me or not. Right now, were listening/reading a speech called "Ain't I a Woman?" by Sojourner Truth. I've gotta say, SHE SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!! Too bad she's dead. Now we're talking about chivalry. This is my opinion on it. I know no one will care, but deal with me. If you take someone on a date for like the first time, the guy can pay if he wants to. By the second or third date, girls can pay if they want. It's free reign. Now all I hear is Terion asking, ''Is a fat enslaved person normal?" Nope. Then, we started talking about what it means to be an ally because the question of the week is: What does it mean to be an ally. Then, people started talking and we stopped talking about it.
