Agenda Blog.Corrections Q.Q.Song  Book Talks Reader's Workshop HW RJ 5.1 Read/record for 20-30 min When we got in the class, Ms. Nakada's class she gave us new seats, and we wrote down the agenda. Then, Ms. Nakada read her blog. After that, we wrote down the quote of the week and the question of the week. The Quote of the Week: "You get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You don't get hurt.You look out for yourself and nothin can touch you." by Dallas Winston from  The Outsiders,  and The Question of the Week was, How should you/parents handle a bad progress report? After that we listened to the Song Of The Week, which was "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman. Then, we discussed what the song meant. After, we chose what book we were going to read.

Agenda Blog/corrections Quiz #1 reader's workshop HW: Enjoy your weekend! Today, students came into class and found their seats with the desks turned. After Mayra read her blog, students made a pile at the aisle of binder reminders for me to collect. Then, I passed out the quizzes and everyone got started. While students worked on their quizzes, I graded binder reminders and then passed them back at the end of the period. Everyone worked so diligently on the quiz and hopefully everyone did great!
