Agenda Blog Corrections Student Led Conferencing Forms HW  RJ 9.3 Read for 20-30 min. Today, we started by writing the agenda for like five minutes. Then, we started talking about the coronavirus and the kids going to DC. After, we were done talking about the virus we got a sheet about the student led conferencing. It was a paper to fill out. Angel kept bugging me to put him in the blog so here is your little taste of fame, Angel. Now let's get back to it. We went to AR to check our progress on the iPads. After everyone was done we completed our SLC forms. Then, we started either doing silent reading or something else I didn't hear. Ms. Nakada started collecting the test prep paper we got from the sub. It's going to be lunch in a bit so bye.

I kinda thought I already did it, but whatever. We started doing the quote of this week, and Ms. Nakada started talking about if you tell her your hurting yourself, she would tell someone. Then, we started passing last semester work and that's what they're doing right now, and Ricardo just right now told me to put him in the blog. Right now we are taking out our Essay prompts, and now talking about it. Right now, there's really nothing going on but Ms. Nakada talking to the class about the Essay prompt assignment. Song Essay Prompt RJ Check Homework: RJ 8.1 Read 20-30 minutes After we did blog corrections, We are doing the quote of the week "The measure of any society is how it treats its women and girls" by Michelle Obama. We are now talking about how society treats women differently in places of the world and past times. Now, we are moving to the question of the week, "How is language shifting to become more gender inclusive?" We discussed that some quotes refer to a certain gender like men, man, he, she, her, and women. Instead of saying all or everyone, and also how different places and events are gender inclusive. Now, we are moving to the song of the week: "Flawless" by Beyonce and Chimamanda Adichie. We talked about how he song is telling us how girls should be more confident in themselves, and how girls should act in religion and on media.
