Agenda Blog corrections Q.Q. song InkTober:treasure Reader's workshop HW RJ 10.1 I.O.B.A. p.1-37  We started class by reading George's blog, and he got the bright idea to pick me. Then, we listened to the Quote of the week which was, ''No one leaves home unless home is the mouth of a shark'' by Warsan Shire. Then, we did the Question of the Week: Do people spend too much time on screens? I think we do, no cap. Then, everyone started talking about their screen time; Ms. Nakada put on the song of the week which was ''Black Boys on Mopeds'' and Terion started hitting them high notes. Ms. Nakada started talking about what this song mean, now we're doing InkTober. Now, we are doing a quick write that has to be like 8 sentences long about The Outsiders v. The Movie. When we were writing the bell rung and we all went to Linch.

Agenda Blog Corrections Inktober: misfit SLC forms/ RJ check T.O.  Book v Movie HW: Happy Friday! So, when we walked in, we wrote down the agenda. After we wrote down our agendas, and Jade read her blog and picked me, which I am kinda happy about since it's a short day. We then did our Inktobers and today's Inktober was misfit. After that, we checked our reading journals for this week and started to watch the movie, so I'm going to go watch the movie now. We finally finished the movie, even though the movie left out a lot of stuff. We then took out our English notebooks and wrote down the differences  between the movie and the book. It is now time to go to 5th period, so bye bye.

Agenda Blog Corrections Inktober: Ornament SLC Forms T.O.  Book vs. Movie Q.W. Hw : RJ 9.3 Read for 20 - 30 minutes Get RJ and SLC Forms Signed! Ok so, right now we are doing Inktober, which is ornament. I drew a Christmas ornament because that's all I could draw. We stopped doing Inktober, and right now Ms. Nakada is going over the SLC forms.  We are checking our AR on the iPads or your phone. Next, we moved on to the part on the form that says "My plan for the rest of the semester in English class is to:" Next, we moved on to the part that says "What skills do I want improve this semester?" People are passing out our portfolios, right now. So, Ms. Nakada put on  The Outsiders . Lowkey, Pony is kind of cute. We are at the part when Cherry says that she couldn't see Johnny because he killed Bob. The bell rang right now to go to linch. Sammarah, Destiny, and Satcy are waiting for me outside so BYE!

October 15, 2019 Agenda: Blog corrections Inktober: legend RJ check T.O.  Book v. Movie Homework: RJ 9.2 read for 20-30 minutes and record Ok, I'm not the brightest person, so don't make fun of me if I mess up. When we came into class, we sat down and wrote the agenda and the homework. To be honest, I fell asleep reading yesterday, so thank you Ms. Nakada for making me fall asleep. Then, we were having a long talk about the PSAT tomorrow, and it just made me more scared than I already was. Now, everyone is drawing for Inktober and honestly, I can't draw to save my life. I can't even draw a straight line or a stick figure, yet all my siblings have some sort of talent, and I'm the odd one out. Also, I can't stay on topic no matter what I'm doing. Anyways, the bell rang for linch, and I miss my little annoying cousin, Valerie. Bye. P.S. I don't know what I'm doing with my life, and Jade is doing the blog because she asked me to pick her.☺...

Blog corrections Q. Q. & Song Inktober: Overgrown T.O. book v Movie HW: RJ 9.1 Read 20-30 minutes and record. I'm not all that good at putting introductions, so I'll just go straight to the day. First things first, we start the day with blog corrections. After we do blog corrections, Ms. Nakada asks the students to take out our binder reminders, so we can correct them. There's a lot of commotion going on about a spider, and I can't keep track of what's going on now. Anyways, after we did binder corrections, we moved on to fall quotes of the week, which talks about with hard work you can go very far and that there is no easy way to get through life. Now, we moved on to fall questions of the week. We talked about Christopher Columbus and if we should celebrate Columbus Day. After a while we moved on to fall song of the week. Today, it's a terrible day for me, but I don't want to tell you guys why. I knew that Loren would have picked me to do the blog, so thank you Loren for picking me to do the blog today. You're such a great friend. Everyone is doing their Outsiders essays, so it's really quiet right now. Pretty much there's nothing going right now. I'm pretty bored right now.
