AGENDA BLOG corrections Q.Q. Song Lit. Circle Update homework: RJ 2.1 read for 20-30 minutes Today, we came in class sat down and started writing our agenda. George read his blog, and he chose me, (I'M ANGRY). But now I am writing the blog and A'denn wanted to be in the blog....... but I didn't feel like it sooo, Anyway. We finished talking about the MLK (MILK) quote. "the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy." The question of the week: Why is it important for people to take a stand? Then, Ms. Nakada started to play the song of the week: "Lift Every Voice and Sing" The Black Nation Anthem. Now, I'm waiting for something exciting to happen. I'm pretty sure most of you want to be in the blog, so I'm gonna wait until some asks me. Agenda Blog Corrections Story Corps: John Lewis Literature Circles RJ Check HW: Enjoy the MLK weekend. Make good trouble. So, we started things off with Ricardo reading his blog, and of course he had to pick me. Now we are talking about the book MARCH and how the people were marching for a long time. After that, we listened to John Lewis talking about when he boarded a bus and went to go meet Martin Luther King. Now, we are talking about what happens when you get arrested, and when I get older I hope to never experience that. We are getting ready to move to our literature circles, and we got 14 seconds which is pretty fast. There are a lot of people talking and I can barely hear my group.We are now going to put the tables and chairs back and got 18 seconds. We have extra time so Ms. Nakada put the video she was talking about in the beginning of class. It is now time for linch, so bye.

1/16/20 Agenda Blog*corrections RJ check  Literature Circles   The class started out with Vanessa reading the blog. Then, Ms. Nakada went around the room checking the reading journal. Once she finished, she told everyone that the highest score in moving tables was thirteen seconds, while I was typing I heard a bunch of noise behind me. A'denn started shouting because other people weren't sitting down, the whole class then started to scream at A'denn because he was the last one to sit. We ended up getting thirty two seconds. Before all that happened, Destiny told me put her in the blog. So many people came up to me to tell me to put them in the blog, and the people that I think I heard was, A'denn (Even though he started smacking me in the head) :(. I think Jade also told me. AGENDA Blog corrections RJ STAR TEST Literature Circles HW RJ 1.3 Read for 20-30 min & record. Francisco read his blog. Then, he chose me so thank you. Umm, after that, Ms. Nakada checked reading journals. Destiny, Sebastian, and Angel asked to be in the blog. Oh, I almost forgot, there's a new kid in our class. I sorta forgot your name so sorry. WAIT NO, his name is Rowan (I think that's how you spell his name). But yeah, that's that. After that, we all took the star test, and then kids finished so then we met with our reading group and yeah. Gino, Nasir, Emily and Sabrina wanted to be in the blog too. Okay that's it. Bye.

Agenda Blog corrections Rj Literature circles  HW: Rj 1.2 Read  For 20-30 minutes  and Record  Today, we took out our reading journal and Ms. Nakada told us to have our title, minutes and pages we read in our reading journal. We wrote in our table of contents: Literature circles, and Ms. Nakada told is about what it is. Literature circle is to read a text with peers: summarize, ask questions and clarify vocabulary.Vanessa said she's cool. Jade wants to be in the blog, so yeah, and she is Dora. We all went to get a book to read for Literature circles. We went into our Literature circles, and then we read and then we wrote a summary. :) Andrew said hi. Okay, it's time for linch. Bye bye.

Agenda New Seats Blog Corrections Q,Q, Song New Semester Hw: RJ 1.1 Read for 20-30 minutes and record. * Uni Night Tonight 6 pm in the library * Book Project due Feb. 7 So, today is the first the day back from Winter Break. We first got new seats, and once we got settled in class, Angel started to read his blog. Then, he picked me. A'denn wanted to be part of the blog so there you go.
